Annual trip to camp «Zaluchye» for active members of student organizations took place on 15-18 September, 2016. Members of Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter took part in this event.
Organization committee did its best to make the trip both interesting and useful. The central theme of this year’s trip was energy companies. All students were split in teams in random manner and didn’t know which one they had been put in until they arrived to the camp. By the end of the first day teams had already prepared short performances to show them on scene. The evening came to an end in one breath and the teams were given their new tasks for tomorrow.
The second day was rather educative. From the very morning the students attended different lectures and workshops and then started working on different cases together with their team. The main activity of the evening was creativity competition – the participants needed to shoot a video and make a scene performance again.
The third day of their stay in Zaluchye the students had an interview session with the rector of Gubkin University, Victor Martynov, and afterwards presented their team projects, on which they had been working before. Individual projects were also exposed and their authors received comments and recommendations from the university administration representatives.
